# LATIHAN PRACTICAL FOR MICROBIOLOGY

Assalamualaikum semua...

Ya Allah.. lama sudah saya tak update blog.. Sangat terharu bila ramai adik-adik di luar sana yang ingin sangat tahu pasal mIkrobiologi. Akak amat TERHARU OKAY. hahaha. 

Dah jadi akk saya nie. so you all... kos nie for part 6 kita tak ad kelas sebab kita must to attend for practical training for 3 MONTH. 

Lame tak ??? 

so time saya kene latihan industri, tempat pilihan ialah INSTITUTE MEDICAL MOLECULAR BIOTECHNOLOGY (IMMB) SG. BULOH. Tempat nie best sgt and paling penting semua alatan makmal dia memang SUPERRRBBB.. !!!

So time latihan industri nie, saya diberi tugasan membuat satu projek iaitu ` TRAN-CONJUGATION  OF PSEUDOMONAS '.

Best kot buat bende nie even leceh lar jugak sebab main sample bacteria dari patient yang memang dah dijangkiti oleh Pseudomonas Aeruginosa. BAHAYA tau kalau kita kene infection. So kita kene berhati - hati time handle this bacteria.

korang tau tak ape itu conjugation????

 CONJUGATION  is the transfer of genetic material (plasmid) between bacterial cells by direct cell-to-cell contact or by a bridge-like connection between two cells. It was discovered in 1946 by Joshua Lederberg and Edward Tatum, conjugation is a mechanism of horizontal gene transfer as are transformation and transductional though these two other mechanisms do not involve cell-to-cell contact.

Bacterial conjugation is often regarded as the bacterial equivalent of sexual reproduction or mating since it involves the exchange of genetic material. During conjugation the donor cell provides a conjugative or mobilizable genetic element that is most often a plasmid or transposon. Most conjugative plasmids have systems ensuring that the recipient cell does not already contain a similar element.

so conjugation tu macam kita bagi satu DNA of Pseudomonas yang resistant dekat satu antibiotic ( emipenem ) dekat satu lagi Pseudomonas yang sensitive dekat antibiotic( emipenem ) by bridge. 

projek nie makan masa jugak lar. ikot nasib.. kadang2 berjaya.. kadang2 tak. so mostly jarang2 dapat. so ALHAMDULILLAH.. saya telah berjaya men-conjugate kan bacteria tu. hahaha. *bangga pulop. (Astaghfirullah).

so nie lar picture yang saya boleh kongsi pasal projek nie. selamat mencuba. hahaha.
